i wa just lying in bed thinking about my friend torben whos in india at the moment and i thought about how much i would love to know more about how hes doing there. not because he doesnt write me any emails but i always feel that i dont get the info that id really like to know. do you follow me? i want to know about his experience of going to india. how does it feel for a person to be there for the first time. what goes through his  head when hes alone in his hotelroom in the night.

and i know that i have thought this before about other people. so i wonder if its just me or if people also go around and want to know more about how their friends/close ones feel. you know when youve just had an epiphany or other kind of nice experience of some kind and you tell someone about it and they just go, yes ok(more or less) and you feel like they dont understand you at all.

on the other hand i remember now that i have been like that to my brother many times. maybe its just hard to relate to other peoples epiphanies. one goes and does ones thing and then when people come to you, you dont know what to say and maybe it doesnt even sound interresting to you in that moment. shit.

so….

i guess id still like to be able to share personal things with more people. im thinking personal philosophies, hardships and the dealings wiht them. epiphanies ! (i get to use this word a lot in this one) and i guess thats because its what i think about a lot. the ways of life.

ill be blogging more about those. i can feel it.           so how do you feel?

so i want a product that would be just as neat as an ipod, but that would also be an opensource product, because that would really keep it open and inovative. like right now i have a creative player and using it i often get ideas while wishing for some functionality that would just make it sooo much easier in that particullar situation. and if this company making these players would have this forum where users could write suggestions and other users then could feedback and at the same time the company employees would watch all this and they could try it out. OH YEAh and you could even as a user just lay down the money and have the company make the software you want and have it your way. wouldnt that just be cool.

This player would of course play all your filetypes and NOT be restricted to only fucking itunes and mp3. it would of course promote the best and preferrably opensource types because thats just what i would love, but in the end it would just be the best type because things would always get debated on the website.

and then about the store. i think something like a mixture of your online musicstore and youtube kind of thing would be really cool. but the cool thing would be that you ‘d only have to pay for your file once and you would always have access to that song. you could always download it or you could always listen to it anyplace with a connection, which will be everywhere in 5 years i guess, because you will just log on the database and stream all the music you already payed for from the main server. that would also make it possible to allow you even cd-quality streaming when the bandwidth gets to that point. i think that even the player should have a connection so that you could just listen to what you wanted and you could even shop for more music, audiobooks or whatever, OR you could create your own radiostation in the likes of www.pandora.com. yeah!

and because this place would such and open place it would have made agreements with all kind of places where artist make their stuff available for free or are in public domain like http://librivox.org. So you could always get exploring the richness thats available outthere.

I am really looking forward to this
